Rollmaster Report

Photobucket

A holographic image of the Tarentum Crest appears on your hologram projector, spinning around in circles. Right above it a small like of text appears: "Please wait for a Message from your Rollmaster."

Moments later; the image of the armor-clad Kushiban known as Kragok, appears in it's place. His arms behind him, he stands tall and proud as he quickly begins. "Greetings, my fellow Cestians. Today's message will be short, but sweet. It has been announced; that we have been victorious in our first campaign against Clan Scholae Palatinae and Clan Plagueis. This is a very good announcement given what happened previously against Independent House Revan."

Kragok raises his fist into the air, the top of his hand facing the people. "We have two campaigns remaining against the Clans Scholae and Plagueis, and we will crush them. We will make them remember the Clan Tarentum. Though we will not take the main event from Revan, Arcona, and Naga Sadow; we will take it from these two."

"We are strong, we are united. Together, we will crush them." Kragok tightens his fist, and gives a dark look at everyone. "Tarentum Prevails!"

The holographic image of Kragok fades away, revealing the Tarentum Crest spinning in circles once more.

As the small bit above reads, we've claimed gaming over CSP and CP! Congratulations on that fact everyone, I'm proud of each one of you who participated. Those who could not, there is still one more week left for us. As long as we can claim one more event (ACC or Fiction), we will snag the 1st place position and be secured a spot in the final knockout round. If we get that, we will have no fear of being eliminated.

The only disappointing part is the timeouts we have in the ACC, and I know this has been stressed previously. If you are unsure if you can participate or not due to real life issues, or if you decide at last second you do not want to participate; please do not sign up. If you are unsure, I would play it safe. We gained quite a few points from positive timeouts in our favors, but those positive points were removed by timeouts on our part. Timeouts alone could easily have secured us a victory.

Now; I DO want to say, for those who had issues that came up post-signup, this message was not geared towards you. Those situations are understandable, and 100% unavoidable. Those who just 'forgot', this 'is' meant towards you.

Also...in the above bit, there is a hidden reference to a very famous movie if you guys can find it...special surprise to the first one who finds it.

That's all I have for this week everyone. :D

Competitions

Poetry Event In this off-week’s Poetry event, you are to write the most powerful and emotion-inspiring haiku as possible. Obviously, you will want to write your submission in English and have it sent to [Log in to view e-mail addresses] by 2359 EST on Friday, January 29th, 2010.

Out-of-Universe Fiction This week’s off-week fiction competition is allowed to be out of this world. Actually, out of this universe to be precise. Write a two-page fiction set in some other sci-fi universe, be it Firefly, Farscape, Star Trek, Babylon 5, Riddick, anything you want, provided it is set in some Sci-Fi universe or other. Again, submissions have to be sent to [Log in to view e-mail addresses] by 2359 EST on Friday, January 29th, 2010.

Team Gaming! For this week, all gaming must be team gaming, which is to say one side must have at least two people playing. Clans are unimportant and members should report their matches under the ‘gaming night’ section. Team gaming ends at 2359 EST, January 29th, 2010.

See you guys again in 2 weeks!
