Hello Battleteam Caliburnus of Scholae Palatinae! It has been a little while since my last report, and for that, I apologize. Between the campaigns, our in house event that Shadow and I threw, holidays, and some real life issues, things got extremely hectic. However, that stops now! Things are starting to let up in all of those areas, (well…most). Part of my new year’s resolution is to become much more active on the DB again, and I hope you all join me in that.
The Wrath of Zhan looking home campaign just ended, and I want to formally thank everyone who stepped up to participate! You all did an amazing job and really showed what we’re made of! I wasn’t able to, but I am so happy that we had participants out there and enjoying what the DB has to offer! The next major event is the GJW that is starting in a couple days (be on the lookout as it is always tentative).
So this is going to be the first GJW in a while, and I’m pretty much taking everything from our handy Quaestor’s report. If you HAVEN’T read Xen’s report, you can read it here.
Anyways, the Great Jedi War will be starting just about the 9th. This war is going to be broken up into two different parts, the first half will run from the 9th to the 23rd, while the second half will be running from the 26th to February 9th. Almost reverse right?
There are SO many different types of competitions that you, yes you, can take part in! They have things for every type of Dark Jedi! There will be Fictions, Graphics, Gaming events, Puzzles, Multimedia and other little things! There are some full length (from what I can tell from Xen’s report, meaning through both halves of the GJW), Battle Plans, run-ons, and another multimedia competition.
This is our opportunity to show that Scholae Palatinae still has what it needs to be a force to be reckoned with! It would be AMAZING if everyone in our Battleteam (or even our entire House) participated, and if we strive, we can even place! The honor of placing in such a huge event is a fantastic feeling. I’ve got a few placements under my belt (it’s never enough, trust me!) But just imagine having a Novae!
I’m not going to post all of the placements, which would make a simple Battleteam report WAY too long, however, CONGRATULATIONS to everyone that participated and placed! If you would like to see the whole rundown, again, check Xen’s report!
Shadow and I hosted a little mini event between campaigns back in November. I just wanted to thank everyone that participated and enjoyed! We left it off with a cliffhanger, so “Unseen Enemies” will continue! This won’t be until after the GJW, so don’t worry! Our Battleteam has a long history, and we want to see it grow and continue.
To continue our Battleteam’s tradition, we are going to strive to focus our attention on our Wiki pages. Shadow and I are going to update, refine, and work on them, if you are willing to help let us know! This could always get you some shiny new awards (you never know…)!
On to the last bit of news for our House. Xen has started doing an AWESOME Cocytus Holonet News! Be sure to keep up to date, and to thank him for doing this really cool and unique aspect for our House!
So as most of you know from my last report, my computer got wiped and destroyed last year. That meant that I lost every single report, db news, and awards list. It didn’t help that because I put my second hard drive into my computer, meaning I lost the backups. So that means that this list may be a bit short. For that, I apologize, but here is the last few months of our Battleteam’s hard won earnings!

Everyone did awesome participation over the last few months and even won some shiny awards! Congratulations to all who one, and great job to all who placed!
Thank you for all that this Battleteam has done. I am very proud to be a part of it, and hope that we continue to grow and participate in more. Keep moving forward, keep being excited and looking at the next event. This was a long report, congratulations to all that placed in everything since the last report.
